Highest honour for Petar Perkovic

Ath the 13th annual conference of the Croatian Camping Union (KUH), our long-standing employee, Petar Perkovic, was honoured with an award for his life’s work in the development of camping tourism in Croatia.

His career in tourism began in the 1960s and he worked his way up from reception to management.

He has been spreading his expertise, cheerfulness and good humour at IGL for over 35 years and has helped to develop the camping area through partnership in the former Yugoslavia together with IGL owner Gerhard Schnaars. These partnerships, for example with ADAC, TCS or ANWB, still exist today.

The entire IGL team would also like to thank you, Petar, for your commitment, your infectious passion and your friendship, and to congratulate you on your award! We hope you will be by our side for many more happy hours and that you will be able to sing many more songs at various events and celebrations!
