25th anniversary of Andreas Santner

In the 50th year of its existence, the traditional Salzburg tourism agency IGL Werbedienst GmbH can also celebrate a personal anniversary and a professional success story.

Managing director Andreas Santner startet out 25 years ago as an advertising consultant in the company’s sales department, and a few years later he became head of marketing and sales and a member of the management team. In 2009, after 18 years with the company, Andreas Santner took over the managment of IGL Werbedienst GmbH. The 47-year-old media and tourism expert was born in Saalfelden, attended the tourism school in Klessheim and, after graduading from that school, completed a training program to become a graduate in communications.

IGL specialises in international publishing and media planning for tourism clients in Austria, Italy, Croatia, Slovenia, Switzerland and southern Germany. IGL is an official partner of the publishers of the major automobile clubs ADAC, ANWB, TCS and ÖAMTC, as well as of Europe’s leading special interest media, and offers clients leading products in print and cross-media. Year after year, Santner has been able to expand the agency’s portfolio, thereby setting a strong course for the company’s future success. His 25 years of consistent professional commitment were honoured by Mayor Dr. Heinz Schaden and the head of the Service and Legal Department of the Salzburg Chamber of Commerce, Dr. Gerd Raspotnig, who presented him with the certificate of honour and the silver employee medal.
